Terms of Service
1. What the app is
REGHY HUD Backup ("the app") is a personal, non-commercial backup tool. It runs on its owner's own computer, encrypts the owner's data there, and stores the encrypted copies in the owner's own Google Drive. What the app does is described on the home page.
2. Who may use it
The app is used only by its owner, with the owner's own Google account. It is not offered, sold or provided as a service to anyone else, and no accounts are created for other people.
3. Google account and Google services
Using the app with Google Drive also means using Google's services, which are governed by Google's Terms of Service. The app accesses Google Drive only as described in the Privacy Policy. Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
4. Owner responsibilities
- Keeping the offline private key safe. Without it, encrypted backups cannot be decrypted by anyone, including the owner.
- Checking from time to time that backups can be restored.
- Staying within the storage available in the Google Drive account.
5. No warranty
The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Backups can fail, be incomplete, or become unusable, for example if the private key is lost, Google Drive is unavailable, or storage runs out.
6. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the author of the app is not liable for any loss of data, loss of access, or other damage arising from the use of the app.
7. Changes and termination
These terms may be updated; the "Last updated" date above will change when they are. The owner can stop using the app at any time by revoking its Google access and deleting its backup folder in Google Drive.
